Aerith pops up in Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 2, trying to help the healing process of Hollow Bastion.

She explains the Ansem Reports to Sora and also gives him the healing ability, Curaga. The game itself but the hope the next game will be more interesting and better. A beloved character from Final Fantasy 7, Aerith Gainsborough makes her first Kingdom Hearts appearance in Traverse Town. I think it says a lot that the most interesting thing about this game is the "to be continued" at the end. The pace is broken to hear some essay from an Organization XIII member or to see a scene of the Disnet movie. Unless its brought up like in threads like these I feel very little desire to bring it up and if I do it's to talk about how dissapointing it is. Is it dissapointing? Yea, but so much so I dont even feel inclined to talk about it often. Like the ff stuff? Not even in the fucking game, not even a tweeny. Everything else is hella boring and barren. You like the disney worlds? We toy story and pirates are cool. You like the villains? None of them do anything interesting and 1 is seemingly forgiven in a problematic manner. Updated on Apby Rebecca Phillips: The announcement of Kingdom Hearts 4 during the series' 20th anniversary celebrations in 2022 reinvigorated many fans' excitement for the future of the series. You like sora? Hes particularly boring this game They have been silentĭo you like characters other than sora? They suck

This game so dissapointing it sucked the soul out of the kh fanbase. I pictured Nomura tossing in everything, including the kitchen sink, like finding out they are in the Matrix, there was some ancient event called "The War of the 13 Lights" and that Noctis has a light equivalent in the "Light World" and that Versus XIII takes place in the "Dark World", then there's the World In-Between, and the World Beyond Worlds, and World's End and alternate versions of Noctis for each plane of existence. He almost seems too ambitious for his own good, which was a reason why I kinda was wary of Versus XIII, especially when they had talked of it becoming a "series". In my personal headcanon, KH1 is a stand-alone adventure that ends on a "?" and that's it. These storytelling clichs might work in a game targeted at kids, but the downright confusing number of named characters, enemy types, journal entries, Ansem.
KINGDOM HEARTS CHARACTERS ARE BLAND SERIES
After two, I read up upon all the stuff the various sequels introduced (concepts about dreams and digital people and shit) and I knew this was a series I didn't want to follow. I only played KH1 and KH2, hated 2, but loved the first one.
